A Talk on Crime Writing at Strood Library - March 1st 2011 at 7.30pm
Medway Borough Council and Libraries for Life have arranged for Yvonne to give a talk about her writing experiences. The meeting offers people the opportunity to meet with local Crime Writers.

About Yvonne
A weaver of tales and stories from the moment she learned to speak, a prerequisite being the eldest of six, beating her identical twin into the world by twenty minutes. 

Her interest in the effects of crime and deviance began when she studied with the Open University, gaining a BA in Social Sciences. Yvonne knows her subject well and uses her own background in terms of time and place in all her novels so that they have a resonance and a truth that sets them apart.

Yvonne's first Novel " A Time to Die" was published in 2007 by Pegasus and this was quickly followed in 2008 by "A Web of Murder". Yvonne is currently working on her latest murder mystery and hopes to have this finished and available later this year.

Actively involved with local writers groups Yvonne has guested on Radio Scotland in one of their " Book Cafe" projects, has been a guest on the local radio station in Sheppy and has been the guest speaker at several local functions and libraries.

Following an article in the Kent Messenger newspaper Yvonne was invited by The Rainham Book Shop to take part in a book launch and signing.
